If you like it, stay on for the rest of the hour for £8 inc. drum hire. Book here: rhythms@thedrumcoach.org

Autumn Drum Day - a 1 day drum experience  on Tuesday, October 3rd 2023 at Adventure Camp, Hamperley nr Church Stretton.

I's a fun, outdoor summer workshop featuring a mix of easier to learn rhythms and some more tricky rhythms for intermediate drummers. It's not for complete beginners, so if in doubt about your level of playing do ask me!

What's the drum day all about?
We will play some existing and some new extended rhythms to stretch you a little and to learn to play in a bigger ensemble. No 'walk of shame' drum solos (unless you want to!).
We will major on djembe playing of course, but we will also play dun-duns (see above) so we can have some fun playing the 'bass parts' too. This workshop is not for complete beginners so only pass on invites to friends or family if they're more experienced to at least 'improver' or 'intermediate' level. If in doubt ask me. Booking essential.

What are the details?
Times: From 10am starting with a warm-up; session 2: 1.30 to 4pm. Bring a picnic lunch to share! Half day attendance is an option - beginners in the morning; more experienced in the afternoon...
Venue & location: Adventure Camp, Hamperley nr Ch Stretton.

Cost: £15 + drum hire £1.00; £7.50+£1 drum hire for half day (am or pm)

What do I need to do now?

Come and join in - for existing beginners and improvers only. I will be making a contribution to my various African charities/good causes after the workshop. I look forward to hitting the skin with you soon!
